Healed of bone Cancer

You may feel like you’ve been knocked down your feet kicked out from underneath you and you’re hanging from a very scary carnival ride up side down only this journey you find yourself on feels far from a fun filled carnival. It may feel like you are dangling over a pool of hungry sharks and you just cannot hold on much longer, please let me help you. I want to give you hope today; I speak as a victor not as a victim.

In November 2022 after several weeks of failing health I began feeling sicker each day. I knew I was very ill. One evening after throwing up much of the day, my husband insisted I go to the emergency room. We knew there was a serious problem that could not be from eating the wrong foods or something going on in my digestive system that might cause a normal upset stomach.

I had lost my appetite to the point that I was eating almost nothing! After x-rays and testings my diagnosis was very bleak and shocking! They said I was full of cancer! I had stage four breast cancer that had metastasized throughout my body into my blood and bones. At best with treatment they suggested maybe I had six months to a year to live. The doctor left us alone to process our thoughts and comfort each other! Although shocked and fearful we both knew, because of our commitment years earlier, to make Jesus Lord of our lives that we needed to cry out to him! We knew that he was our only hope! We knew we could not give into fear – II Timothy 1:7. We also had made it a daily habit to honor the body and the blood of Jesus by taking communion! The first statement out of my mouth was “there’s nothing more powerful than the blood of Jesus!”

I knew that I was convinced of that! I knew cancer was not more powerful than the blood of Jesus! My spirit was strong but oh the battles ahead for my soul and my body! After losing my appetite I had lost over 50 pounds in two months, which changed my body in such a way that I did not talk very nice to myself in the mirror but GOD so sweetly reminded me that I belong to him and that he created me in his image and he wanted me to just bless my body. I began to speak blessings over my body even though I had great pain at times. It wasn’t easy but I thank God for his peace and his direction every step of the way. I had so many beautiful, compassionate people praying for me.

The doctors and nurses that took care of me were also kind and such a gift from God.

My husband was absolutely amazing! I don’t know what I would have done without him, as I was confined to either the wheel chair or my bed. I began therapy and went through some radiation. I tried to use my time when I wasn’t sleeping the best I could – reading my Bible, praying, worshiping and watching videos of some of my favorite preachers and listening and writing out healing scriptures especially!

I did some research and watched videos of some natural things that I could do to get rid of the cancer! I knew my life was in God’s hand. My part was to just trust him and be grateful for all the little steps of improvement that I would see! With each challenge I would cry out to Abba Father. I knew he loved me and he would take care of the situation. He gave me that verse early on Psalms 138:8. “He will perfect that which concerns me!

Little by little I became stronger! It wasn’t long before I was able to move from a wheelchair to a walker. I could feel myself getting stronger! God reassured me with his many scriptures and words from prayer partners he spoke to me in dreams and visions! I felt his sweet presence as we put on worship music! My husband would sit at the keyboard and play soothing beautiful music for me to just soak in!

I studied healing scriptures – I focused more on healing and LIFE than I did on the disease in my body! My husband spoke pleasant words around me! Pleasant words bring healing to the bones Proverbs 16:34. As I was losing hair and muscle tone my husband continued to encourage me, speaking words of love and strength! We attended a couple of healing meetings and continued receiving my healing from Jehovah Rapha – (the God that heals). Soon I was able to walk away from my walker and be steady enough to use a cane.

The pain was less, my appetite returned! I began to feel stronger. The cancer markers kept falling drastically!  My doctor was amazed at my progress even proclaiming that my progress was not just excellent but simply “miraculous!” I just knew I was healed, “Praise God!”

Today just 10 months later I am walking without a cane. I am able to do laundry and dishes again. I can enjoy riding our four wheeler around our farm! I was just recently able to ride in the rodeo parade and attend the county fair and rodeo. I was able to sit up in the bleachers, not in the handicap area!

I am enjoying attending church regularly again and teaching our ladies Bible study. My heart is so full of gratitude – that’s why I want so much to express to you that God is no respecter of persons! What he has done for me he wants to do for you.

I want to encourage you to focus on your relationship with Jesus! Just know and believe that he is GOOD! Know and believe that he is the only way to the Father! Know and believe that he loved you so much that he died for your sins as well as for your sicknesses and diseases. He took them upon his own body on the cross and he did it for you. Resurrection life is for you! When Jesus said “it is finished” He meant it for you. When you pray tell him that you know that he loves you and that he wants you well because he does! Thank him! Keep your heart filled with gratitude! When the enemy brings discouragement and negativism your way, resist those thoughts and replace them with words – out loud words – of scripture, positive words of encouragement and words of life!

It may feel silly at times but that’s OK, you are working on something! you are working on teaching your soul to get into agreement with your spirit and to agree with the word of God! God does not lie and his word says “by his stripes we were healed.”I Peter 2:24. The sooner we get into agreement with his Word the sooner we will see his victorious results in our bodies!

Do not “own” the sickness (IE. my cancer etc.) Now if you are a child of God and you are born again you have been redeemed from sin and sickness! your spirit is brand new! Your body must obey your words – speak positive words! Expect to get better! Hope filled words, encouraging words – remind your self and the enemy that sickness and disease belongs to the devil and that you know that and that he and his works have been defeated at the cross by Jesus! Any bad symptoms are lying symptoms. He is trespassing on a body that has been bought with the precious blood of Jesus and he does not belong there. Tell him so!

Jesus said we could speak to the mountain and it would be removed! (Mark 11:23&24) Speak to the cancer! Speak to the pain! Speak to the sickness and disease – it is a mountain in your life! Command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus – the name that’s above every name – even cancer! Remember it’s not yours it belongs to the devil! resist it and refuse it! If you are a believer you can apply the blood of Jesus to your body (take communion often and be thankful) Thankfulness and worship brings the presence of God! Darkness has to flee when you turn on the light ! Jesus is the light of the world- put your health in God’s hands. Cast your cares upon him daily – hourly if need be – moment by moment some days! Talk to God often get to know the Holy Spirit; He’s been sent to help us and He promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us! Remember He loves you and wants you well! Believe that because it’s truth! Look up all the healing scriptures! never once do you read in the Bible where Jesus refused to heal someone who came to him to be healed! He healed them all! Look up Isaiah 53 – Read the whole chapter and meditate on it! Read I Peter 2:24 – Meditate on the truth – receive it! Believe it! .Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! Get to know the healer!

Thank God for the medical field – they are there to help us and we need them at times for sure but ultimately your creator who knows you and knows your body more than anyone wants a relationship with you! Learn to hear his voice, Read the Bible and listen! Pray and listen! Worship and listen! I like to keep a journal of things He has spoken to me. God sees you. He is not mad at you. He feels your pain. He knows you’re suffering and he cares! His grace certainly is sufficient for you! He in fact has collected every one of your tears that you have cried into a bottle stored in heaven! You are that precious to him. As a believer remember “many are the troubles of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all”.

Stay focused on the deliverer and his plan for you – a good plan! A plan of peace and a plan for hope and a future ! Jeremiah 29:11 also see Psalms 107: 19&20 and Psalms 34:19. See yourself fully alive again, doing activities you love to do. Stay focused on him and build that intimate relationship with him. Be brave, be strong, don’t give up! Expect God ! Psalms 31:24 in the message bible and Passion translation. Before you know it you’ll find yourself well again – giving glory to God and being part of those of us who are willing to help turn the world upside down or rather should we say (right side up)?
