Glo Richards the author of this autobiography lives on a ranch in a beautiful valley along the Clearwater River surrounded by the majestic mountains of northern Idaho. Until recently, Gloria has held a position on the local area Aglow board for many years. For twelve years prior she ministered to many women in southeastern Washington through “Free Indeed” Women’s Jail Ministry which she co-founded. Gloria also helped “birth” the “Shepherd’s House”- a home for unwed mothers.
With a degree in Theology Gloria has been ministering the Good News for over 20 years, teaching and singing whenever she gets the opportunity. She has ministered in prisons, local Bible studies, Woman’s Aglow, retirement homes, jails, and yes, even at church. She graduated from the International In Christ Bible College in Kennewick, Washington in 1996. Her previous college education includes Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, and Northwest College in Kirkland, Washington. Gloria has been a licensed real estate agent and a licensed cosmetologist, which has kept her quite busy for over 40 years. Gloria has been married to Jay Richards for 34 years and together they have enjoyed leading a local “Worship Night” twice a month for the past 5 years. They have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. As a housewife, mother, and grandmother Gloria has many life experiences concerning God’s great faithfulness and amazing GRACE.
